About Jason Gan

15 years in digital marketing.

Meta Blueprint Certified Professional, keynote speaker, business coach, entrepreneur. Jason Gan founded Tribeup in 2010 as one of the first few digital agency in Penang. He has worked with over 200+ brands including EcoWorld, Sunway, Electrolux, Epson, etc. in their digital marketing activities.

Started training business owners about effective Facebook advertising since 2016. He has since trained and coached over 5,000 individuals from various industries and all around the world. Brands trained includes AIA, EcoWorld, CIMB, Bonia, AirAsia Big and more. Follow him on YouTube for daily tips.

Jason holds a Bachelors of International Economics from Universiti Utara Malaysia. The analytical thinking skills trained from his academic background gives him an extra edge in identifying optimization opportunities in Facebook advertising and digital marketing campaigns he managed.

Other than helping businesses grow online, Jason has been actively involved in the startup community. He served as the marketing manager for Fullhouse.com.my and helped grew the company into the leading property portal in Northern Malaysia, which led to its acquisition by PropertyGuru in 2011.

Aside from growing Tribeup into the leading digital agenecy in the region, Jason co-founded Instapps in 2013. Having raised a seed round investment, the Facebook commerce suite was named “the simplest way to sell online” by over 1,000+ micro e-tailers around the world. He sold the company in 2015.

Jason was featured by prominent publications across the region such as Sin Chew, The Star, Tech In Asia, Harian Metro, Yahoo!, Digital News Asia. He once served as columnist at Sin Chew discussing digital marketing techniques.


Being an active promoter of effective digital marketing in the market, Jason is invited to partner with government agencies and ecommerce industry leaders for various coaching and mentoring programs.
