1-on-1 Meta ads coaching for advertisers who are done guessing
Running ads is the easiest part. Anyone with a Facebook profile and a credit card can do it. Knowing what’s working, what’s not and what to fix next is the hard part. That’s what I coach.
Jason Gan, Meta ads strategist
Weekly 1-on-1 calls, inside your own Ads Manager
Break-even ROAS: 1.67
Test a new hook on the retargeting ad. Leave everything else alone. We check it again in 7 days.
You’re not bad at this. You’re guessing.
- One week your ROAS is 5. The next week it’s 0.5, and you don’t know why.
- Every time you try to scale, something breaks.
- You’ve changed the audience, the creative and the budget, and you still can’t tell what fixed it, or what broke it.
- Meta keeps asking for more control, and you keep saying yes.
And underneath all of it is one feeling:
I feel like I’m guessing, and I don’t know if the problem is the ads or me.
The silent profit leak
After running ads since 2010, here’s what I’ve learned. More than half the time, the problem is not the ad.
People don’t buy at the ad. They buy after the click. So the leak can be in your offer, your price, your landing page, your checkout or your follow-up emails. Ads Manager won’t show you where it is, so you keep fixing the ad, and the money keeps leaking.
Here’s what I believe.
Nobody should be losing money on Meta ads without knowing why. It’s not luck, it’s a skill, and anyone can learn it.
I know that feeling, because it was me
For ten years I ran an agency, managing campaigns for clients. I’d wake up not knowing what had happened to the campaigns overnight. Every time the cost per lead went up, I didn’t know what to do, and then the client would call. I was clueless, and I was totally burnt out.
I don’t like uncertainty, so I built a way out. I borrowed an idea from email marketing, where you guide people one step at a time, and tested it on my clients’ ads with their permission. That became my 2-Step Funnel Framework, and everything I coach today grew from it.
I studied economics, so I test like an economist: one hypothesis, one variable at a time, and let the numbers tell us the truth.
I share real account breakdowns on my YouTube channel. Watch a few. You’ll know quickly if the way I think fits you.

How coaching gets you profitable, consistently
-
Know your numbers
What’s your break-even ROAS? Not the one Meta shows you, your break-even. We start with your margin and set a benchmark for every metric, so “good” and “bad” finally have a number.
Before we touch a single ad. -
Find the leak
We look at the entire journey to find the leaking points, on the ad and after the click: the offer, the price, the page, the checkout and the follow-up.
Sometimes it isn’t the ads at all. -
Fix one thing at a time
We change one thing, give it at least 7 days, and let the numbers tell us what’s next. Once it’s stable, you scale with confidence.
One hypothesis, one variable.
“He doesn’t claim to have all the answers upfront, but his step-by-step methodology ensures we find the right strategy for our business—always backed by data.”
What coaching looks like in the numbers
Three situations from real clients, shared without names.
From 3 to 8 in three months
An e-commerce client came in at a ROAS of about 3. After three months of working together, he was at a consistent 8 to 9.
Fix the creative before you scale
A profitable client wanted to scale. His CTR was 0.41%, so we fixed the creative first. CTR went to 0.76%, and revenue went up 18% without spending a dollar more.
The week-to-week rollercoaster
One client’s ROAS swung 14x, 5x, 15x, 4x, week after week. Looked at monthly, it was a steady 8 to 9x. We monitor daily, but we measure weekly.
Every business, offer and margin is different, so your numbers will be too.
Sometimes it wasn’t the ads
Real cases from clients I work with, shared without names. In every one, the fix wasn’t a new ad.
- 21 → 95add-to-carts, same ads
The checkout that blocked buyers
The campaign was already at 10x ROAS. But out of 1,175 landing page views, only 21 people added to cart. Buyers had to log in or sign up before checkout, so we removed that. Add-to-carts went from 21 to 95, and sales more than doubled, with the same ads.
- 4xROAS, same ad spend
The offer nobody was buying
A UK property consultant was selling a course. It got 200 leads and zero sales. The leads kept asking, “Do you help us buy property in the UK?” So we turned it into a service. His fee went up 300%, and he made one sale a week. That was 4x the ROAS on the same ad spend.
- $120 offinstead of 15% off
The discount in the wrong language
A high-ticket product was offering 15% off, and the clicks were weak. We changed it to “$120 off”, and click-through rate, add-to-carts and ROAS all went up. Same discount, said the way the customer thinks.
- +28%yearly revenue, same spend
The calendar, not the campaign
One client spent the same $12,000 a year, but we moved it into the peak months. Yearly revenue went up 28%, with the same spend.
- +10%sales, at zero cost
The email nobody sent
One extra cart-recovery email brought in 10% more sales, at zero cost.
You don’t need more budget. You need to spend the budget correctly.
What it costs
- A 30-minute Zoom call every week, inside your Ads Manager
- Email me between calls, and I reply on weekdays
- A plan built around your stage, whether you’re new to Meta ads or already spending big
- Beyond the ads when it matters: your offer, your page and your emails
If you like working together, we continue. If you don’t, we stay friends. Nothing complicated.
Two ways to work with me
We set a clear target, like a revenue goal over a set period, and work toward it week by week.
We rebuild your account structure together. Once it’s stable, you run it on your own.
Some clients stay for years. One client has been with me for three years. In the beginning, I set her benchmarks and told her what to test. Now she sets them herself, and our calls are about her market and her next move.
Eventually, I want you to graduate, so you can read your own account without needing me.
How we get started
- Book a free callAnswer a few short questions, then pick a time for a free 20-minute call with me.
- Set your numbersOn our first calls, we work out your break-even and a benchmark for every metric.
- Meet every weekOne change at a time, inside your account, until your strategy is stable and you can run it with confidence.
What coaching clients say
Jason has worked wonders in our ad account! … We have been working with him for about 4 months now (via weekly coaching calls) and all of our ads are back in the price range where we knew they could be …
“Under his coaching, my campaign cost per lead came down from $30-40 to $15 per lead. A very significant improvement!”
“He doesn’t just execute — he thinks strategically. Every week, he comes prepared with recommendations for optimization.”
“Jason doesn’t pretend to know it all. The data speaks for itself and he’s great at interpreting the data and figuring what’s working and what’s not. … I’m learning so much from our weekly calls too!”
“He has been coaching us for years, and most of the FB advertising skills that we have mastered, came from him.”
We do weekly performance reviews with him. He’s always on time.
Reviews are quoted word for word. Results are the reviewers’ own and depend on each business, offer and numbers.
Who this is for
This is for you if
- You’re new to Meta ads and want to set things up and measure them properly from day one
- You’re already spending, maybe a lot, and can’t tell what’s working
- You have a goal and a timeframe, or you want a one-time rebuild
- You’re open to fixing things beyond the ad, like your offer, your page or your emails
This is not for you if
- You’ve already decided what’s wrong and just want someone to agree
- You want someone to run your ads while you stay out of it. That’s an agency.
- You want an answer in two days. A fair test needs a week or two.

Two ways the next six months can go
If nothing changes
The swings keep coming. A good week, a bad week, and no idea which change caused which. You keep saying yes to Meta’s recommendations until you can’t explain your own account. And one day you decide Meta ads just doesn’t work for your business, when it was one fixable leak all along.
Once you know your numbers
You open Ads Manager and understand what you’re looking at. You know your break-even, you know where to look when results drop, and you only scale what’s working. The 11pm checking stops.
From guessing in Ads Manager to running your ads like a strategist.
Questions about Meta ads coaching
My ads are doing okay. Do I still need coaching?
If you know why they’re working, maybe not. Most people don’t, and that’s why results swing when something changes. Coaching gives you the why, so it holds.
Do I need experience with Meta ads?
No. Everything can be learned if you learn it the right way. Beginners and big spenders follow the same three steps. What matters is that you’re willing to work inside your account every week.
What if the problem isn’t my ads?
Then we find out where it is. More than half the time, it’s the offer, the price, the page, the checkout or the follow-up. We check the whole journey, not just Ads Manager.
Why is there no minimum commitment?
So neither of us pays for sessions that aren’t useful. If it’s working, you stay. If it isn’t, you leave.
How long do clients usually stay?
There’s no fixed term. Most stay a few months until their strategy is stable. Some stay for years for the bigger business conversations.
Will I see results?
It depends on your offer, your market and how consistently we test, so I won’t promise a number. You should see something meaningful within weeks, and most clients have a stable strategy in two to three months.
How is this different from a course or an agency?
A course gives you someone else’s strategy to follow alone. An agency runs your ads, and you mostly stay out of it. Here, we work in your account together, and I teach you to read your own numbers.
